We Have EGGS!

After seven months of duck ownership and a minor gender mix-up expecting our male duck to lay some eggs, we have finally been able to make breakfast out of our very own duck eggs.  It may seem like a minor thing to some people, but to me it's a huge deal.  Not only does this mean I don't have to buy eggs at the grocery store, but it means I have my own source of fresh, healthy, nutritious eggs for my family.  Of course, an egg a day isn't going to sustain our needs just yet, but everybody has to start somewhere.
